Gershwin Plays Gershwin. Various piano pieces, George Gershwin, piano. The fidelity of these recording derives from the Duo-Art piano recording mechanism which allowed for capture and playback of the actual performance with all its nuances. (I've listened to Rhapsody in Blue played back "live" on a Steinway Duo-Art and it is quite amazing.) Recorded circa 1925 and played back on a Steinway Duo-Art piano for this 1974 Everest recording. Everest 3371.
